The Type 1 Diabetes Risk in Adults (T1DRA) research study is testing a small finger prick blood sample for markers of increased risk to type 1 diabetes.

APDP promotes early detection of type 1 diabetes with “O Dedo Que Adivinha”, a simple finger‑prick screening campaign for children aged 3–17.

DeteKtA
First program in Latin America, offering free type 1 diabetes screening to 3,500 children to identify early stages of the disease before clinical symptoms arise.
